September 2010 - Senator Yaw concludes his visit to Mifflinburg with stops at several local historic landmarks including the newly renovated Elias Church. August 2010 - Senator Yaw travels back in time as he tours Mifflinburg Buggy Museum. July 2010 - Senator Gene Yaw visits Mifflinburg, in Union County, Pennsylvania. First stop on the tour is the historic Gutelius House. The log home is dated to 1803. Frederick and Anna Gutelius raised a family of 13 children in the house. May 2010 - This month's program features what many experts are calling an untapped resource in the Commonwealth; Maple Syrup Production. Senator Yaw visits Fay’s Sugar Shack in Bradford County for a closer look at this annual rite of spring. December 2009 - This month join Senator Gene Yaw and his guest and colleague Senator Mary Jo White, Chair of the Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, for a behind-the-scenes tour of a working Marcellus Shale drilling site in Lycoming County. November 2009 - This month's program features an intensive training exercise to help emergency responders prepare for an accident at a gas drilling site. The event was the result of months of planning by the Lycoming County Community Gas Drilling Task Force's Public Safety Subcommittee and Range Resources, a Texas based gas exploration company.
