Senator Yaw to Hold Open House at Williamsport Office

(WILLIAMSPORT) – Sen. Gene Yaw announced today that he will hold an open house at his Williamsport office on Thursday, June 4 from 4:30-7 p.m.

The office is located in the Executive Plaza Building, Room 204, 330 Pine Street, Williamsport.

“I would like to invite the public to my Williamsport district office to give them a tour and provide them with an opportunity to speak with me and my staff about state issues and to learn more about the services that we are able to provide,” Yaw said.  “Traffic has been steadily increasing since we opened up the office in January.

“Because the office is large and has a lot of wall space, I asked my staff to reach out to local artist organizations and school districts across the 23rd District and invite them to display their artwork on the walls for public viewing,” he said.

“I am very pleased with the enthusiasm this idea has garnered since we thought of the concept,” Yaw said.  “Every four months, the artwork will change.

An RSVP is requested; however, it is not required. Constituents can reach Yaw’s office by calling 322-6457 or 1-800 443-5772.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

“If you are unable to make it in on the 4th, I encourage you to stop by at your convenience to meet my staff,” Yaw said.  “My staff will also assist constituents with any questions or concerns they may have.”

Yaw was elected to the State Senate last November and represents the 23rd Senatorial District, which includes all of Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan and portions of Union and Susquehanna Counties.

Media Coverage of the Open House is welcome.
