Swearing In Ceremony to be Broadcast on Yaw’s Website

HARRISBURG – State Senator Gene Yaw (R-23) will be sworn in today during a ceremony at the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg.

Yaw was re-elected in November to serve another four-year term in the state Senate representing the 23rd Senatorial District. The District consists of Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan, Union and Susquehanna counties.

“Residents who are not able to attend today’s ceremony can visit my website and watch from the comfort of their own home,” Yaw said. “My website serves as an online district office with news, helpful links and other resources. I believe that state government should be as open and accessible as possible for the people I represent.”

Residents are encouraged to visit Yaw’s website, or click on the link provided. The ceremony will be broadcast at noon. Yaw also reminded residents to follow him on Facebook at Facebook.com/gene.yaw.3.

A Loyalsock Township resident, Yaw is married to Ann S. Pepperman, and has two children, Scott and Mackenzie, and two grandchildren. He was first elected to represent the 23rd Senatorial District in November 2008.
