Yaw Launches New Senate Website

HARRISBURG – State Senator Gene Yaw (R-23) today launched his redesigned website featuring updated graphics, integrated social media and a newly created Action Center.

“This redesigned website makes it easier for residents living and working in the 23rd District to stay informed on state-related matters,” Yaw said. “I am especially excited about the new additions to our social media portfolio and hope that people will routinely follow our Google+, Facebook and Twitter accounts. I am always looking for new ways to engage and stay connected.”

The redesigned website offers visitors a way to quickly scroll through Yaw’s upcoming events featured on the center slider, as well as view photos and videos and read the latest tweets from Senator Yaw on Twitter. All of these features are prominently displayed on the homepage.

In addition, visitors will notice an Action Center where they can directly email Senator Yaw. The Action Center offers residents of the 23rd District a quick route to subscribe to his e-newsletter, submit flag and tour requests and solicit help with state agencies. In the Newsroom, visitors can also preview Senator Yaw’s television program titled ‘A Conversation with Senator Gene Yaw.

“I hope residents living in the district will use the website to learn more about the legislation I’m working on in Harrisburg,” Yaw added. “The latest news from the Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, press releases and news updates are also available for reference.”
