Senator Yaw Participates in Penn College Fall Commencement Ceremonies

HARRISBURG – State Sen. Gene Yaw (R-23) on Saturday participated in the Pennsylvania College of Technology Fall Commencement at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport.

Senator Yaw, who serves as chair of the Penn College Board of Directors, conferred degrees to students with President Davie Jane Gilmour.

“Today’s graduates are well positioned for career advancement for years to come,” Sen. Yaw said. “I join with their families and friends in congratulating them on their hard work and dedication, and wish them much success and happiness in the future.”

Stephanie A. Petrison, of Landenberg, who received a Bachelor of Science in business administration: sport and event management concentration, was the student speaker. Also addressing December’s class was Ryan P. Good, assistant professor of welding, who was presented with the Veronica M. Muzic Master Teacher Award in May.

A Distinguished Alumni Award was presented to 2004 business administration graduate Clint Cullison, a senior associate with Greenlee Partners.
