Sen. Yaw to Hold Tele-Town Hall on Tuesday

HARRISBURG– State Senator Gene Yaw (R-23) is inviting residents living in Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Union counties to join his telephone town hall event on Tuesday, March 31st, from 6PM to 7PM, to discuss Governor Tom Wolf’s 2015-16 proposed state budget, as well as other important state issues.

The tele-town hall format allows community residents to participate in a discussion on the issues without the need to travel throughout the region.  Participants may ask questions or simply remain on the line to listen to the discussion.  Residents can sign up for the event in advance by clicking here, https://vekeo.com/pasenyaw/, or by visiting Sen. Yaw’s website at www.senatorgeneyaw.com.

The event will also feature a live audio stream page that allows smartphone, tablet and computer users to listen in and submit questions for the Senator online. A link to the live audio stream will be available at https://video.teleforumonline.com/video/streaming.php?client=11880, immediately prior to the event.

“I look forward to hearing from residents throughout our region and having a constructive conversation on the issues that matter most,” said Yaw. “Whether you want to ask a question or just listen to the discussion, I hope residents will participate.”
