Senator Yaw Highlights Mifflinburg, Union County in Monthly TV Program

Williamsport – After visiting and touring earlier this year with officials of Mifflinburg and several of its local historical groups, Senator Gene Yaw, R-Lycoming, is featuring the borough and its projects on his monthly cable show.

“I was impressed by the work of these individuals and others in doing a first-class job of preserving an important part of Pennsylvania history,” Yaw said.  “It was truly interesting, informative and enjoyable day in the district.”

“The first show highlighted the historic Gutelius House, dated to 1803. Frederick and Anna Gutelius raised a family of 13 children in the log home,” he added.

“The current show running now is featuring the Buggy Museum, the William Heiss Coach Works and the final installment will feature and the restored Elias Church.”

A Conversation With Senator Gene Yaw is designed to keep residents of the 23rd Senatorial District informed about state and local issues and showcase the people, places and communities that make this area so unique.
