Disaster Relief Center to Open in Montoursville, Lycoming County

WILLIAMSPORT – Beginning Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 1PM, a Disaster Relief Center will open at 740 Fairfield Road, Montoursville, to help residents who have been impacted by the recent flooding due to Tropical Storm Lee, according to State Senator Gene Yaw (R-Lycoming).

Once established, the Center will be open from 10AM to 7PM seven days per week until it is no longer needed. Signs will be placed on all access roads giving directions to the site.

“This will be a one stop shop for all disaster relief,” Yaw said.

Residents of Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Union counties can also contact Yaw’s Williamsport Office at 1-800-443-5772 or his Harrisburg Office at 717-787-3280 should they have flood related questions. Senator Yaw’s Towanda Office remains closed due to flooding.
