Senate Bill 1041 (Schwank) – Analysis
Amends the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act to clarify that all forms of cities, boroughs and townships may collect a local fee for mandated recycling.
Senate Bill 1114 (Yaw) – Analysis
Amends Act 537, also known as the PA Sewage
Facilities Act to allow the use of “alternative systems” for planning purposes throughout the Commonwealth.
House Bill 1712 (R. Brown) – Analysis
Creates the Private Dam Financial Assurance Program, administered by DCED in consultation with DEP, to provide financial assurance for dam owners to assist in meeting financial obligations under the Dam Safety and Encroachments Act of 1978.
