Senate ERE, CPPL Committees to Hold Joint Public Hearing on Resource Adequacy, PJM’s RRI Applications and Generation Investment Market

HARRISBURG – The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, chaired by Sen. Gene Yaw (R-23), and Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee, chaired by Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32), will hold a joint public hearing on Monday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 8-EB of the State Capitol to discuss resource adequacy, PJM’s Reliability Resource Initiative applications and the overall market for generation investment.

Testifiers will include the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, PJM, GT Power Group, Homer City Redevelopment, Constellation and Talen Energy.
