Cromaglass Corp. to Receive State Grant

HARRISBURG – A Williamsport-based business will be the recipient of a state grant, according to State Senator Gene Yaw (R-Lycoming).

Cromaglass Corporation, the manufacturer of a variety of wastewater treatment systems, will receive a $7,500 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Small Business Advantage Grant Program. The grant will be used to reduce air emissions and energy costs.

“I congratulate Cromaglass Corp. on being the recipient of this funding,” Yaw said. “Since 1965, Cromaglass has been providing wastewater treatment solutions around the world while operating and employing locally. This funding will go a long way to making upgrades that will make them an even more environmentally friendly company.”

The Small Business Advantage Grant Program is open to small business owners whose business facility is located in Pennsylvania. Eligible applicants must be for-profit business enterprises that are corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, sole proprietorships or other legal entities that have no more than 100 employees and are a separate legal business entity at the time the application is submitted.
